So, you want to major in biology, but you feel all thumbs in the lab? We love moving you quickly yet comfortably from beginning steps through lab mastery. Then it’s on to metabolism, immunology, and environmental interactions.
Research, writing, presentations—that’s your professional life in biology-based careers. We’ll show you how, through a sequence of seminars that lead into your senior project, a written and oral demonstration of your scientific know-how. Then you’re ready for work, professional training, or graduate research.
Explore your career path through an internship. Our environmental science students have interned with organizations including Greenville Zoo; Roper Mountain Science Center; and local, state, or federal agencies, private or public, that manage environmental quality.
Be a stronger candidate for a health care graduate school (med school, anyone?) and earn course credit for your clinical shadowing experience. We’ll connect you with some great options.
